Chance to Dance Stars is excited to bring you a weekly dance and music social group for our post-16 students bring a fun, supportive and inclusive environment, focusing on moving and our social, life skills. 

Support: support is provided by Chance to Dance Stars for those students working on a 1:6 ratio or above. If your young person requires support, we ask a carer to attend and participate in the FUN! You will have Victoria, our Founder and Kerri our Team Leader hosting our weekly sessions with volunteers joining us throughout the term. 

Our Goals: 
Build confidence and self-esteem through music, movement and performance - at the end of each term we would welcome you to join us for a small performance. You will also be invited to perform at Chance to Dance Stars Christmas and Summer Show. This is optional for all students. 
Develop social and communication skills by interacting with peers in a relaxed setting.
Encourage physical activity, coordination and body awareness through dance and movement. 
Support emotional wellbeing, enjoyment and a sense of belonging.
Develop independence, teamwork and turn-taking in a safe, structured environment.
Explore creativity and self-expression through music and dance.
Build friendships and reduce social isolation, while enjoying a regular weekly activity.
